Introduction
American Standard O1 special steel is not deformed oil steel, the
best oil-hardened tool steel, widely used, this steel has good
machining performance, stability, good wear resistance, heat
resistance, dimensional deformation is small, but the toughness and
corrosion resistance is weak.Commonly used in stamping die,
stamping die, bending die, die, punch punch, finishing molds metal
molds.
This is a very broad application of excellent steel, is used as the
blade material can be processed very tough and holds an edge depth,
for example Randall and Mad Dog

Application
1. For the overall hardened plastic mold.
2. Used to make sheet stamping touch, jewelry embossing mold
3. Used for make cold die with small cross section and complicated
shape and high precision
4. For thermosetting plastic forming, it requires high wear
resistance and high strength mold
5. Widely used in cutting tools, such as broaches, filament taps,
long reamer, special milling cutters
Feature
(1) By oil quenching, hardness can be up to 62HRC.
(2) This Steel is not deformed oil steel and best mechanical
performance , it is widely used.
(3) Higher manganese content of the steel and chromium, tungsten
content, increase the hardening, the steel does not require severe
water quench.
(4) The steel also better workability and wear resistance, heat
treatment stable performance, small size
Deformation, but the toughness and corrosion resistance is weak.
