SKD61 is a hot work mould steel, the implementation of standards GB
/ T1299-2000; Grade 4Cr5MoSiV1; Alloy tool steel referred to as
synthetic steel, carbon steel is based on the addition of alloying
elements and the formation of steel.
Including synthetic steel, Measuring Tool and Cutting Tool steel,
impact-resistant tool steel, cold work tool steel, hot work tool
steel, non-magnetic die steel, plastic mold steel.
SKD61 hot rolled steel bar is used for the manufacture large impact
load forging die, hot extrusion die, precision forging die;
aluminum, copper and alloy die-casting mold.

Technical service
Die vacuum heat treatment and die surface
treatment(N-O,C-N,carburize and nitridation surface treatment).
Chemical heat treatment
Mold can be further strengthened If use gas nitriding or
nitrocarburizing, but the nitriding temperature should not be
higher than the tempering temperature, in order to ensure that the
strength of the heart does not reduce, thus enhancing the service
life of the mold.
Delivery condition
EF, or ESR, Hot rolled or forged, black surface or milling
Hardness: annealed to HB≤229
Feature
